Below I will detail how to remove and replace the battery for the most popular remotes we sell.
Garador/Hormann BiSecur 868 MHz HSE4 Remote Control Handset
There is a notch on the back which you need to insert a flat head screwdriver into. You then use this to pry open the case. You can then slide out the flat coin shaped battery (CR2032 3V) and insert a replacement. The 2 halves of the case can then be clicked back together.
Garador/Hormann Remote Control Handset 868 MHz (Blue Buttons)
On the back there is a panel which slides out of the casing. The battery is removed in the same way as a regular battery, and replaced by a new 12V battery. Then replace the cover.
Garador/Hormann Remote Control Handset 40 Mhz (Grey Buttons)
To open this remote, push inwards on the keychain part and then flick up towards the back of the case. This will separate the casing into 2 halves. Replace the 6V battery and click the case back together.
Henderson/Sommer Remote Control Handset 868 Mhz
This replacement is straight forward. The inner section of the remote can be removed, just keep pulling out of the outer casing. At the end is the coin-shaped battery. Swap this with a new CR2032 3V Battery and then place the remote back into the outer casing.
Cardale 868 Mhz DC Remote Control Handset
There is a notch at the top of the remote. Place a penny into here and pry the case apart. Replace the battery with a new CR2032 3V Battery and clip the case back together.
Cardale 433 Mhz DC Remote Control Handset
There is a notch at the top of the remote. Place a penny into here and pry the case apart. Replace the battery with a new CR2032 3V Battery and clip the case back together.
