How do I change the battery in the remote?Updated 5 months ago

Included with all the remotes are instructions which detail how to remove and replace the battery, but if you have lost these please contact us and we can provide instructions on how to replace the battery as it varies for each model, [email protected] or WhatsApp 07481 342 447.

Below I will detail how to remove and replace the battery for the most popular remotes we sell.

Garador/Hormann BiSecur 868 MHz HSE4 Remote Control Handset

There is a notch on the back which you need to insert a flat head screwdriver into. You then use this to pry open the case. You can then slide out the flat coin shaped battery (CR2032 3V) and insert a replacement. The 2 halves of the case can then be clicked back together.

On the back there is a panel which slides out of the casing. The battery is removed in the same way as a regular battery, and replaced by a new 12V battery. Then replace the cover.

To open this remote, push inwards on the keychain part and then flick up towards the back of the case. This will separate the casing into 2 halves. Replace the 6V battery and click the case back together.

This replacement is straight forward. The inner section of the remote can be removed, just keep pulling out of the outer casing. At the end is the coin-shaped battery. Swap this with a new CR2032 3V Battery and then place the remote back into the outer casing.
