Here at WS Garage Door Spares our aim is to help you get your Cardale garage door back in full working order by supplying spare parts for all models of Cardale garage door at affordable prices allowing you to carry out your repairs safely and easily.

This is your one-stop-shop for all garage door spares and accessories, whether you have an older model of door such as a Cardale CD45 or a newer CD Pro Safelift door. We stock a range of spare parts, such as wire cables, roller spindles, replacement door locks and even remote controls.

See below a breakdown of the main Cardale door models that we stock and supply spare parts for.

MK2 / MK3 Canopy

MK2 Cardale Doors were manufactured pre-1984 and are identified by their side spring drums. The cables are obsolete, and if the cables have broken, the spring will have unwound and lost tension. We only have the door handle and roller spindles available for this door. If any other part needs repairing, you will need to replace the mechanism with a new door gear. 

MK3 Cardale Doors were manufactured from 1968 to 1979 and are identified by the central spring drum above the door. If both cables have snapped, the spring will have unwound and cannot be retensioned. A new door gear will be required. We have door handle, roller spindles and cables (as long as only 1 has broken) available. 

CD45 Canopy

CD45 Cardale Doors were available between from 1984 to 2000 and were a very popular door. It is easily identified by the narrow ends of the cones having a hexagonal nut shape. We have many spares available for this door. 

CD Pro / Safelift Gear

This is the current model and was introduced in 2001. It can be identified by a large torsion spring along the top of the door and a drum/barrel shaped cones at each end. We have many spares available for this door. 

Retractable Door

Cardale made a few different models of retractable doors.

• Maxi-mizer gear, manufactured from 1996 to 2004, had 2 springs on each side of the door. 
• Slideaway doors, manufactured from 1996 to 2004, have 1 spring on each side of the door. 
• Entex doors, manufactured up to 1996, had 1 'soft'/flexible spring on each side.
