Having trouble identifying the correct replacement part for your Garador door?
Below we will go through some of the different cams, latches and receivers, providing links to each replacement where possible, and links to compatible replacements when required.
Does the cam on the back of your door look like this?
The white cam is still available, but is now manufactured in black; Garador Handle Repair Kit.
Alternatively, your Garador Handle may have this Rear Lock Cam on it.
If you have an early Garador model, you might have this cam below, which is unfortunately obsolete. Please contact us for advise on how to repair your door.
Do you have a spring box above the door, housing 2 springs? This is a MK3C door model.
If you have just 1 locking cable, going centrally upwards, you will need the Garador Mk3c Latch Bracket below, which fits into the central slot on the underside of the spring box.
If your MK3C door has 2 locking cables, both going upwards diagonally, then you will require 2 of the brackets.
If some instances, if there was not much room above the garage door, the springbox will be installed on its side. These doors require the Garador Mk3c Alternative Latch Bracket.

Garador’s current canopy C-type door has been manufactured since 2002 and is sometimes referred to as a CG, CF or G3 type door. The spring is a single torsion spring running across the door frame above the door. On either end there is a cast metal drum around which the support cables run. This door, in its default configuration, has 2 latches and receivers which go up diagonally from the handle, left and right.

The diagonal locking bars are unfortunately not sold separately. You will need to purchase the 2 latches, 2 receivers and 2 locking bars as a kit using the Garador Additional Lock Kit. As this is an additional locking kit, to replace your current damaged or missing canopy parts, you should select Retractable from the drop down menu.
Garador’s current range of retractable doors has been supplied since 2002. These doors feature a multi-spring or cluster type spring with 3 (single doors) or 6 (double doors) springs at either side of the door. This door, in its default configuration, has 2 latches and receivers which go down diagonally from the handle, left and right.

The Garador/Hormann Retractable Latch to suit Garador or Hormann retractable steel garage doors (2002-2003) and GRP(fibreglass) doors (2002-2006). Handed left or right looking at the back of the garage door.
The Garador Retractable Latch is a spring loaded locking latch to suit Garador retractable, steel garage doors, manufactured 2005-present. Handed right and left from inside the garage looking at the back of the garage door.
If needing to replace the diagonal locking bars, you will need to purchase them as part of a kit, including 2 latches and 2 receivers using the Garador Additional Lock Kit. As this is an additional locking kit, to replace your current damaged or missing canopy parts, you should select Canopy from the drop down menu.
